(Correspondent Lu Yiliang) The 24th International Conference on Magnet Technology，MT-24 was held in Seoul, South Korea from October 19 to October 23, 2015. Teachers and students 14 people, under the leadership of Professor Li Liang, went to South Korea to participate in the meeting.

Professor Li Liang gave a keynote speech entitled "High performance pulsed high field magnets at Wuhan National High Magnetic Field Center", which showed the latest developments in the center magnet technology and was widely watched by the participants. Participants of the magnet technology experts had a strong interest on our original flat-top pulse magnetic field technology and 100T pulse magnet program, launched a fierce discussion.

The strong magnetic field center has submitted 18 papers in this conference , respectively, in the high field magnet, power system, NMR and biological applications, new industrial applications and other six sub-venues in the form of posters were displayed. We have in-depth exchanges with international industry experts, introduced our pulse magnet design and manufacturing, pulse power, signal control and electromagnetic pulse forming and other important progress and achievements.

The International Magneto Technology Conference is the largest and most authoritative conference in the field, hosted by the Americas, Europe and Asia in turn. The meeting since 1965, held every two years, the current magnet meeting coincided with the 50th anniversary of the meeting, attracted more than 20 countries from 29 related areas of experts and scholars to participate. The conference has now become the most important academic exchange platform for magnet science, technology and application.
