(The correspondent: Yening Liu) On the afternoon of December 23, 2016, the third session of "pulse power forward" winter long-distance running activities between teachers and students organized by the Wuhan National Magnetic Field Center in Ma On Shan forest park of Wuhan city came to a successful ending.

The purpose of this activity is to improve the physical quality of the teachers and students, show the good spirit of the teachers and students and promote the importance of physical exercise. The preparations for the event were well organized and arranged 10 verification points along the way, 3 replenishment points, and equipped with a first aid kit. After the match began, competitors were accompanied by two staff on their bikes in response to emergencies and escorted all competitors.

More than 40 teachers and students in the center enrolled in the long run, after a fierce competition, the student men’s group was awarded the top three by Taiqiang Sun, Xiaoyu Hu, Qingjian Wang  respectively , Women’s group was awarded the top three by Shengman Li, Meng Li, Chen Zhu respectively and the men’s teaching group was awarded the top three by Jianbiao Li , Sizuo Chen, Shunqiang Li respectively. There was a love scene that some teachers and students passed the finish line shoulder by shoulder, helping each other to finish the race. It showed the atmosphere of unity, mutual assistance and friendship of personnel in the center and brought the spirit of friendship first and competition second to an extreme.

The long run enhanced the friendship and cohesion between the teachers and students, and showed the spiritual quality of not fearing hardship and daring to fight of the teachers and students in the center, making everyone realize that only with a healthy body and a strong will can you succeed in the path of scientific research!
